![]() India Poverty in India is widespread, with the nation estimated to have a third of the world’s poor. Approx. 1/3 of all Indian people fall below the international poverty line of US$ 1.25 per day, while 2/3 of the Indian population live on less than US$ 2 per day. It is estimated that about 42.5% of children in India suffer from malnutrition. Together with our company partners from “IMPEX”, we decided to support the poor people in the region of Guntur. Our donations will concentrate on helping schools for children, especially for those who are blind or mentally or physically handicapped. These children are Christians, Muslims, Hindus and of other religions. It is our belief that this support will improve conditions for these very poor, marginalized groups and will help make their lives in our region more pleasurable and comfortable.
